What to do when something does not work as expected.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC"

Windows shows this for new apps from small publishers. Choose More info, then Run anyway. The download page lists the file's SHA-256 checksum if you want to confirm the file.

The dip is refused

The dip is outside the tank's calibration chart. Check the dip and the tank, then check that the chart covers the full height of the tank.

A warning about the temperature

The tables use temperature rows every 0.25 °C and the app uses the nearest row. Read the thermometer to 0.25 °C to avoid the warning.

"This key is already active on another PC"

One licence works on one PC at a time. Deactivate it on the old PC, or in the customer portal, then activate it again.

"Your licence needs an online check"

Connect the PC to the internet, open Upgrade and choose Check now.

I bought Pro on Android but it is not active

1. Wait a few minutes; Google Play can take a little time to confirm a purchase or a redeemed code.
2. Open the app again with the internet on, then choose Settings › Subscription › Restore purchases.
3. Make sure the Play Store uses the same Google account you bought with.
4. Check the order in Play Store › Payments & subscriptions › Budget & history.
5. Still not active? Email support@fuelmetricpro.com with the order number (it starts with GPA.).

I lost my data

Restore your latest backup file from Settings › Data › Restore from backup. See Backup and moving to a new PC.
